I've tried installing this version of uPerform using the MSI and the old command line parameters but for a reason I don't know, the MSI wasn't able to take my COMPANYNAME and PRODUCT_ID parameters. I instead used the Setup.exe (InstallShield) package to install the program silently and passing the parameters to it. It worked fine. Here is the command you have to use.

uPerform_Client_4.x.exe /s /v"/qn ALLUSERS=2 COMPANYNAME=\"Company Name\" PRODUCT_ID=XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX"

It went straight through installing all the prerequisites by itself. Pretty straight forward. See Notes for full parameter list.

Note

I tried to find information to deploy uPerform 4.10 passively with auto license input but could not find any way. I ended up using Orca to modify the Setup Properties UPERFORM_COMPANY_NAME and UPERFORM_PRODUCT_ID. I then resaved it as MSI and I deploy it using standard msiexec switches.

Note
for the 4.12.01 update, you must first have 4.10 installed.

I ran the 4.12.01 update EXE and then captured (you could also extract) the MSP file for the update.

I use msiexec /update "path_to_msp" /passive to deploy this without intervention.
