When I first took on Splunk I was a little worried due to how cumbersome the software appears to be when it comes to performing searches within the software itself. Luckily Splunk offers free training and there are countless videos online to learn more about this interesting database. Even better is that Splunk will pull in data from KACE so that it, along with any other software (such as Nessus) can be viewed and reported on from one source. If you're able to implement this software into your environment then I absolutely couldn't recommend it enough.
