AKA Stellent DIS is a document management system that uses ODMA intergration.
The client portion is file called SETUP.EXE that is compiled using NSIS (Nullsoft Scriptable Install System).
This thing cannot be re-packaged into MSI because the following will change for each new installation. This issue occurs even for the same user on different machines:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\MS Exchange Settings\9207f3e0a3b11019908b08002b2a56c2]
"01023d00"=hex(03):
"01023d0e"=hex(03):
To run unattended use the /S switch. (UpperCASE "S",BTW)
The 7.6 version only configures the user that runs the setup.exe. This means that if users share the box, each new user will need to run the SETUP.EXE. Power users can install it but I doubt Limited Users will be able to install it.
CAVEAT: If you install the Stellent client before the Outlook profile for the user is created, the Check-in button/toolbar shows in Outlook but the Stellent Folder inside Outlook are missing. Running the setup.exe afterwards does not bring the Stellent Folder back.
