Uninstallation of Sybase SDK can also be made silent, however unlike setupConsole.exe uninstall.exe forks into some other processes and quits before it is done. So if your SW distribution depends on this, you will have to watch the processes or include a sleep.

When using a silent uninstall Sybase leaves two files behind, that hinder reinstallation.
You will have to delete %WinDir%\vpd.properties and %WinDir%\W32Registrystate.dat for installation to work again.
