Note
This is how I created an MSI / MST for RUMBA Office so that installs an AS400 Display with all my customised settings. I hope its relevent to some people

1- Install RUMBA Office on a desktop and configure to the way you want it including point to the correct AS400 servers

2- Perform an admin install on the rumba_english.msi and point it to the relevant network location.

3- Msiexec /a rumba_english.msi

4- I created an MST with Installshield 10.5

5- Create 2 new components one for the config files and one for AS400 display. Upload the config files from the following location of your fully configured RUMBA AS400 install
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application data\Netmanage\RUMBAThe three files are config, wdteldn.cfg, wdtelnl.cfg
The component should aim to the following destination which has already been predefined by the MSI
{INTERAPPDATARUMBA} [AppDataFolder]NetManage\RUMBA
Upload the Display file from your fully configured RUMBA AS400 install
C:\Program Files\Netmanage\RUMBA\AS400display.wda
The destination for this file should be [INSTALLDIR]

Remember to create a shortcut on the desktop for the above and associate an icon to it.

Run as per normal MSI with mst

Note
Support for Version 6 of Rumba 2000 was discontinued in 2006 but my client doesn't want to upgrade. I did a setup capture in Wise.

1) DO NOT display in Add/Remove Programs list! It doesn’t work.
2) Administrator Options – Change to a Per Machine install
3) ODBC settings – WDDEMO change to a Per Machine install
4) Check the Shortcuts – Some were captured as Advertised
5) Convert Source paths to Relative paths
6) To remove the “Rumba Assist” during the first startup delete the HKCR\CLSID\b489aa40-e87d-11ce-92e7-02608c8f6772.
7) A number of DLL’s and activeX OCX files failed to register resulting in 1904 errors. These were removed from the selfreg table.

Default Settings are stored in the c:\WallData\Defaults directory. After configuring the sessions add the contents of this directory to the package.

The application loaded the following drivers Twax.sys, isdlc.sys, coax.sys, and rmbs.sys which resulted in changes in the currentcontrolset which were included in the package.

I then saved this short-cut within the share to be re-used for all users and a part of the deployment solution. MST can be modified with ORCA if InstallShield is not available.
