Kace Systems Management Appliance Monitoring
The KACE Systems Management Appliance (K1000) Monitoring feature provides extensible and easy-to-use default log monitoring profiles for server class operating systems. Administrators can define additional profiles that point to alternative event logs or operating-system-level logs and choose the specific criteria on which to search and the severity level of the alert. Optional performance threshold monitoring, and monitoring for applications such as Exchange, IIS, and others, can be performed using Log Enablement Packages (LEPs) that you can obtain from this ITNinja collaborative community. Use the alerts produced by the monitoring feature to create a Service Desk ticket, or an automated email notification, among other responses.
- The
K1000 Monitoring component displays alert criteria in a single management
console for in-depth visibility on monitored servers.
