Find K1000 and K2000 MAC addresses

For the K1000:

Navigate to: Settings>Support>Troubleshooting Tools

Or, if you have organizations enabled, it will be: System>K1000 Settings>Support>Troubleshooting Tools

Once there, click on Edit Mode. Select ifconfig from the drop-down menu and click Test.

In the window that pops up, the entry by "ether" will be the MAC address.

For the K2000:

Help>Troubleshooting

Select ifconfig in the drop-down and click Test.

You may see two entries for "ether" as there may be 2 active network connections. Those are the MAC addresses.

  • I don't know about the k1000, but at least on the k2000 you can log into it via command line as netdiag/netdiag and run ifconfig as well. - lcadhelpdesk 12 years ago
  • It's true on the K1000 as well, but not everyone has access to the console to run ifconfig.

Troubleshooting tools is just an interface to run ifconfig from the GUI, sort of like a command prompt in Windows.

I'll update the post to reflect it if I can. - jknox 12 years ago
