K1000: How to restart/reboot your appliance

From the K1000 user interface:

Navigate to one of the following locations:

Settings>Server Maintenance>Edit Mode>Reboot

Or, if you have organizations enabled, navigate up to the System level:

System>K1000 Settings>Server Maintenance>Edit Mode>Reboot




From the K1000 console:


1. The easiest way to reboot at the console is to send a Ctrl-Alt-Del. That should cause the K1000 to perform a graceful reboot. In ESXi, this can be done with a Ctrl-Alt-Insert or sending the command through the ESXi interface.

2. Another option is to log in to the console with netdiag (user: netdiag password: netdiag) and type reboot then press enter.
