ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Script, package, test and deploy applications utilizing automation tools,
ensuring seamless rollout to users across all offices.
· Develop, maintain and provide ongoing support of the firm's desktop and
laptop images.
· Perform quality assurance and test applications prior to rollout; deploy required
patches to workstations using patch management software.
· Support and document application installations and configurations.
· Provide ongoing application maintenance; recommend and implement
improvements.
· Assist with application evaluation including initial installs and pilots.
· Troubleshoot and identify issues related to application deployment and correct
directly or through coordination with other teams.
· Manage group policy objects controlling the workstations OU in the Active
Directory.
· Install, maintain and troubleshoot all applications in the Citrix server farm
environment.
· Work with colleagues in all offices to ensure smooth remote application
distribution.
· Other duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC JOB
REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have prior experience and a solid understanding of application
deployment tools. Experience with any of the following will be considered –
SMS, LANDesk, Prism, etc.
· A minimum of 3 years experience using Wise Packaging Studio or other
comparable packaging products for the creation on Windows Installer
applications.
· Working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and registry –
2000, XP, and Vista.
· Indepth understanding of Microsoft Active Directory group policy and security
templates for organization units
QUALIFICATIONS: · Above average communication and interpersonal skills.
· Organization and problem solving skills.
· Good attitude and strong team player.
· Available for overtime, should it be required.
· Good customer service skills.
· Must be able to manage time and priorities effectively and work
independently.
