Activstudio v3.7.19 on 64 bit Windows 8.1 - Board not connected message even when it is.
I know the software is a few years old but our staff prefer using it over the new version. I've deployed the software and the 64 bit drivers. Board and pen respond and I can draw, write etc. Strange thing is under the Configure tab it says 'Configure (Board is not connected)' and the Configure and Calibrate Board options are both grayed out. As I say, board and pen still work so I'm not too worried at the minute but I just waiting for someone needing to calibrate and not being able to. Any ideas? Does the software need to be installed in a particular order?

Is it the same situation with a manual installation from the vendor installer/s and following their instructions?
If it is, then it's probably down to using older software on Windows 8.1.
If it works fine (package or manual install) on the OS the vendor states it supports, then I don't think there is much you can do to obtain this functionality - other than upgrade.
