Adding a Chromebook to Kace
Hello
I have a K1000 that I am using to support my users in the field.
My question is how can I import or manually add a Chromebook Device?
Our users are on mixed networks that I don't have control over.
Regards
Joe

Inventory for Chromebooks can be configured via Agentless Inventory. For details, see the "Using Agentless management" in the K1000 admin guide (pg 345 in the 7.0 guide). KACE also offers enhanced management using Google's API. Here is an article detailing setting that up: https://support.quest.com/kb/147954

The directions on creating an API do not help anymore. Google revamped console.developers.google.com site. Trying to figure this out myself. - carminus 7 years ago

Did you ever figure this out, I am looking at the same issue? - Jetcity 6 years ago

I don't see any Chromebook KB articles anymore, though "Chrome OS" is listed in the supported OSes for agentless inventory (but I haven't tried it myself): https://support.quest.com/technical-documents/kace-systems-management-appliance/8.1%20common%20documents/administrator-guide/100#TOPIC-898966 - JasonEgg 6 years ago
