Adding new entries to a INI File using WScript or VBScript

Hi Guys,

I am wondering any one can help or advice me how to Get a File Name(with out extension) from Root Dir and add a entry of the File Name in to a INI File using either WScript or VBScript.

Thanks a lot..

If this is for use within an MSI installation, I'd recommend that you combine an "AppSearch" and an "IniFile" table entry.

Hi Wise User,

Thanks for your advice.

No, i am not planning to edit the MSI because it was an vendor supplied. I need to supply some external scripts to Search for a File and Get the File name alone and edit the INI file where the FILENAME has to be an entry.

Transform it then.[;)]
