If you *had* searched, then you would've seen the reasons why downloads fail.
Don't forget that the site is now effectively owned by Dell, for whom, I would imagine, fixing "broken" links to software that is now practically prehistoric, no longer being actively developed, is free and doesn't generate any income isn't going to be terribly high on anyone's priority list.
