Admin Script Editor not responding after install
After finally discovering a link to download the application, running it is another problem. It just sits there spinning with a busy icon when running the application. I can't make out anything obvious in the adminscripteditor.exe.config file that might be throwing this off. Running 'as administrator' makes no difference. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Thanks for any suggestions...
- Might as well add, running Win7 SP1 64 bit
- UPDATE: so eventually the start screen did appear after a ridiculous amount of time. I tried disabling the start screen, but that doesn't help the startup process any. I guess you have to enable the 'quicklaunch' setting for this to be a worthwhile tool to utilize.
- UPDATE2: this program crashes a lot...

Hi,
the start-up time is due to the application attempting to contact the vendor site (which no longer exists) looking for updates etc. As this is hard-coded it cannot be changed.
As for crashing allot, as it is free, and still a very capable editor... well... you don't look a gift horse in the mouth do you?
It's better then spending big $ on for example Primal Script from Sapien
