Adminstudio Enterprise 2013 setup, config, questions
Hi there,
We just purchased this and I need stand it up. I have used adminstudio professional before, but just the repackager, wizards, and installshield.
I understand the application catalog/app manager is a good package management tool? I would really like to hear some opinions on adminstudio 2010 enterprise and the goods and bads. Is there anything I should not bother using or installing? I understand the software repository is just a storage area for the binaries, is this worth using? I have reviewed the offical flexera adminstudio installation guide, and its missing alot of information about all the options and i cannot find a good example model. Also if anyone has any decent links or blogs on this, would be great.
Thanks all
Indie

I've had a play with it in the past, its OK...
Its was a long time ago since I have used it, but I opted for manually sorting my packages - there was a reason but I cant recall sorry.
I think it was something to do with the versioning, or the way it checked out files.

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking... what if I wanted to quickly edit something in the source without going through a front end. Hopefully someone else can chime in as well
