Adobe CS6 pre-installation routine: uninstall all previous versions of CS 4, 5

Heya,

So... it looks like CS6 dosnt have a upgrade table for previous versions. Need opinions on how about to go forward with cleaning up previous versions of CS.

Looking for a script, routine, or steps to cleanly uninstall all previous version of Creative Suite 4, 5 that I can use before my package installation of CS6.

hoping maybe someone has a script they have used to check and uninstall all known product codes for adobe CS?

I will be using a SCCM 2012 task sequence for this entire process.

  • I tried the Adobe AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe tool - it seems to detect product codes and uninstall previous versions of adobe products, there is a configurable XML that allows you to customize the products to remove and this runs silently as well. Seems I will use this unless anyone else chimes in on a better way. - indierox 10 years ago
