Adobe Muse creates PDApp.log that takes remaining free space on HDD.
So I'm hoping someone else has come across this issue. One can only hope. Also apologies for the back story..
A user had requested that Adobe Muse be added to our software catalog. I have created an AppV 5 package of Muse. Sequencing went well, install and program testing went great. Its after 1 week of the user using this application they have come back to me and said that Muse has used all there free disk space. At this stage there was about 25GB free. Unsure as to what had taken this space, I told them to do a backup and delete any and all data off there that they could to free some space up. I than used WinDirStat to work out where this file or files were located and taking up this space.
At the time of this diagnostics I completed, I had found that there was about 20-25 PDApp.log files with corresponding time stamps in the file name in the C:\Windows\Temp folder. I removed these files, total at the time was about 23GB. I have given the computer a restart and jumped back into Muse and let it sit in the program doing nothing. After about 15 minutes or so it starts creating this log file again.
Now due to the sizing of this log file, I cannot open it or see what the programs issue is. In Event Log there doesn't seem to be any errors relating to this application, or from anything relating to appv packages. Just these really big log files.
So my question is, why is this happening?

I think this might be one for Adobe Support. You could try and open the log before it gets too big to open to see if you can see what it's logging - it might give you an idea of what's going on. - dunnpy 9 years ago
