So, it's showing the version you are installing under Programs and Features? But when you check at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ that version doesn't appear. Is that correct? - rockhead44 10 years ago

Why are you creating an MSI from the EXE? Why not just use the MSI you can get when applying to distribute Flash Player? - chucksteel 10 years ago

bcoz after installing EXE, IE is opening automatically and detecting the version which is installed. But i don't want IE to open automatically. mannually it should happen and also detect the version. - kumaramit2602@gmail.com 10 years ago

Right. If you use the MSI from the Adobe distribution page you can make the install completely silent. - chucksteel 10 years ago

Or you could use the patch management section of the Kace box to update all older version to any version you choose to make active and can update to that version. You can select a single machine or your entire Org. - CEads 10 years ago

+1 for ChuckSteel

Get the msi from here and use that, dont repackage the exe into a MSI, its a waste of your time. Also you need to have a distro licence in place to use the re distro. Just fill in this form, its free and takes about 5 mins.
