App-V 5.0 Sequencing CDC Insite 6.0.12 which requires office and VC Redistributables
Hi Guys,
I am sequencing CDC Insite 6.0.12 using App-V 5.0. This requires Office and VC Redistributables. I installed office and the redistributables before starting the sequence and then captured the main install. I was able to launch locally and when I publish it and launch, it just appears in the processes in the task manager but does not appear.
Can anybody help on how to deal with applications that require VC Redistributables?

Do you have the service packs for App-V v5??? It handles Vis C++ runtimes. As long as you let it handle them (you can turn that off) its should add all the required Vis C++ files in to the new sequence.
Have you done any more trouble shooting???

I am using SP2. I did turnoff the "Package Already installed VC++ components" this time in the "Option" of the sequencer and it DID work. I also enabled interact with local system. But I dont know if that would have affected it but anyway it worked. Thanks a ton Badger. itninja works every time.
