Automating computer naming
Hello All,
Thanks for taking the time to look at this.
I'm fairly new to Kace,
What I was wondering was if it was possible to automate naming conventions.
For Example,
The naming convention should be (Type of Device)-001 the next one would be (Type of Device)-002 and so forth.
Could I get some guidance on this?

I am going to assume that y9ou are using an SDA for building your machines, as this is a KACE format? Using the SetComputerName script as a post installation tasks has a number of quite advanced options available now, so I would suggest you download that and read the documentation to understand the scripts limitations.
