I recieved this link from a fellow ITNinja user. We were looking for a way to configure the taskbar on WIndows 10 so that users did not get the Store or Edge icons. This showed us how to create a complete custom taskbar that applies on the first login of any account as a baseline. Any changes or software pinned to the taskbar will not be removed. We have been using this for about 9 months and it has worked well.

Hi Dave. I tried using his method but it's not working. Everything on the K1000 executes properly, files get copied, but the taskbar never actually changes. I ran the taskbar.cmd manually and it completes perfectly fine but still not actually changing the taskbar. - amcfarland 5 years ago
