Can a USMT made from a computer on Windows 7 be then installed on a Windows 10 computer?

We will  replacing a lot of staff computers with Windows 7 with new computers with Windows 10. We want to build the Windows 10 image from scratch. If we capture a USMT can we apply it to the Windows 10 computer?

USMT version 10 will transfer profiles from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
