Can Kace detect if a software has changed from freeware to licensed software?

Can Kace know if a software has changed from freeware to licensed software?

Mostky it depends from software to software in my opinion.

If A software is a trial and entering the key modifies the aspect of itself in the ''Add/Remove'' control panel for sure KACE can detect this.

If not it is possible to create a detection rule ''from scracth'' creating a new software (ex: My software -licensed- ) and use the detection rules to find out if the software is licensed or not (registry keys added / modified when you add the license key? files added? etc etc)

I do not think that in the second case can exist a ''Out of the box'' solution but depends on how the software activation was implemented.
