Can we modify the Progress Message notification of Patch installs?

With the Dell Kace security patching schedule, we can set up a Notification Message notification, however it seems this notification stays on the screen while the patches are currently installing. There does not appear to be a minimize button to this notification window, and it seems we can only move the window around. Also, the window is pretty big for a small notification.
Is there any way we can change the size of the window? And can we add a minimize button to this window somehow? We would like to notify the user that patches are installed, however we don't want the message to be so in your face, and we would like the user to be able to minimize or clear the message after they have seen it.
Please let me know what my options are. Thank you.

Unfortunately not. There are no GUI settings to do that today. It's either you use them or you don't. - nshah 8 years ago
