Capture Image failed

Hi all,

I have problems to capture an Image of any System I tried in my organisation, Normaly we are using Scripted installions and thats working fine.

We are using Kace Version 4.1.182
We have several Kace installation around the globle and Im working on a Remote Site Appliance.

I boot the machine over PXE and using our KBE for Windows7x64, then I go to Capture Image give him a name and selected the image sources (the source machine has win7 x64 installed), Image Type= K-Image.
Directly after I press on Start capture I see two command prompts open for a second and the I got the message "Start Capture Failed".

Does someone know what I can do? Is there any log file where I can look into?

Regards
Patrick

  • Hi Patrick, If I recall correctly we had experienced something like this. It turned out to be not enough free hard drive space on the captured system. You need to have enough free space for the image to be created before it uploads. - jboling 7 years ago
  • Thank you for your help. I attached a Photo, I think there is enough free space on the hdd...
