Change id of assetes field
Hello everyone
Is there any way to change a ID of asset field to specific np. 10004? Right now we are going to create a raport from many organization that contain a custom field of license assets but we have detected that the same assets field has diffrent id ( and its make a huge problem for creating SQL query ) .

the Asset ID that is created whenever an Asset of any type is created is unique, system created and is the key field that you can revert to if you want to identify a specific asset. There is no way of changing the number format or renumbering an Asset ID once one has been allocated, which is why our customers tend to use a different field Asset TAG which contains the physical identification number for every Asset.

Just like Hobbsy said, we use a asset item called asset tag and use that as the reference instead of the unique id.
