The software loads fine. But the Profile does not get copied down from the network folder. It doesn't show up in C:\ProgramData\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\Profile folder.
If I test the script from the local hard drive, it loads fine and the profile shows up in the drop down menu of AnyConnect.
I did notice that if I manually copy the Profile to the Profile folder, and restart, the Profile shows up as an option in the drop down menu of AnyConnect.
Any ideas of why the Profile isn't copying down from a network folder?
Is this "script" being run manually or via some sort of deployment system?
If you are using a deployment system, then almost certainly, the issue is that the service performing the install does not have network access rights and therefore cannot access the profile. If that is a correct assessment of your test process then you will have to create another solution for installing the profile. Does the profile go into the user folders or into the application folders?
EdT, thank you for the information! It will be ran from a deployment system. We have a script that runs during bootup. If the machine is part of a software Group that we create for Active Directory, it automatically installs it. By default, I believe it goes under the C:\ProgramData\ folder. I did find out that the ProgramData is hidden with our image. I tried to unhide it and then run the automatic install, but it still did not move the profile. Actually, now that I think about it, and your comments, I may do a search to see if the install moved it to another folder that AnyConnect does not recgonize. Thank you! - Ray
