CiscoTransportManager-1.0.2 - Launch error

We are installing the CiscoTransportManager-1.0.2.msi on a clean machine.

When we try to launch the shortcut exe - "ctm-small.exe" we are getting a JVM error as below:

"Cannot Launch Executable

Could not find a suitable Java Virtual Machine on your system. See http://java/sun.com to download one.

Try re-installing the Java VM or change the Java VM used by the application"

Is it we are missing any pre-reqs of this application? How to fix this error?

  • It will either come with one bundled with the software - look for a java\bin folder structure in the installed files/directories - or you'll need a JRE as a pre-req.

    What does Cisco's documentation say?

Have you rebooted after your install?
Did you check your path variables, is something added for the application? - dunnpy 11 years ago
  • Yes.. did a reboot after install .. stil the same ....
The application itself install jre under the below path
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cisco\TransportManagerClient5_0_2\jre\bin"
    Couldnt fine any path variables...

Cisco document says that the Client version of the application install jre with the package.

Actually it is not working on our testing image ..but working fine at users machine. - shradha_jain02 11 years ago
