Delete profiles except admin

I've been working with some simple scripts placed on the computers locally to help make thigns easier and more streamlined for the VP's over here.

We have a few guest rooms that have a lot of people logging on with their own accounts. My supervisor would like me to clean up the profiles every month or so (a.k.a. delete them). So everything doesnt get too cluttered.

No problem.

I was wondering if there is a script out there that will delete all profiles EXCEPT the administrator, All Users and Altiris profiles, every 30 days. I have been hunting, but I think it might be too specific, so I am having a tough time finding one...or one similar to it that I can modify.

I dont even know if its possible!

(oh, obviously this would have to run with local admin rights at a certain time)

Can anyone help?

DelProf from MS works well. Might save you the time spent on scripting from scratch.

I'm struggling with the same issue and haven't had any luck. I need a script that will clear out local user profiles on logoff. All the profiles to be deleted start with 'S' and have 8 numbers after that. I played around with delprof without any luck.

I realize it's not quite the same, but have you looked into mandatory profiles - depending on what you're trying to achieve, this may be an alternative to profile deletion, and are pretty simple to work with?

Thanks for the input. Mandatory profiles aren't an option, this is an educational environment, everyone has their own login w/ redirection, etc. I know this can't be too difficult but I'm just learning scripting so it's a big challenge for me. Nice post VBScab, I'll try that.
