Deploying IE11 with K1000 -- allow via patching?
This may be a pretty straightforward question, but the person who set up our K1000 is no longer here to ask. Our organization had blocked IE11. I think I have found the un-blocker to run (it's part of this https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40722).
My question is, if I reenable Windows 7 32 and 64 bit Internet Explorer 11 for our organization, does K1000 take care of the prereq patches and then deploy like any other update?
I'm not sure if I should pursue that path or if I really need to make a managed install -- if we are ready for every KACE-managed PC to move to IE11.

Answer Summary:
To summarize for others reading this thread, the patches for IE11 will be disabled if Software Installers are disabled in your K1000. I would need to allow Software Installers and then enable the patches if they are still inactive. In my organization's case, we decided to script the prereq updates, and script the main IE11 install (though I'm trying to move *that* into a managed installation).
