What is the best practice in deploying network printers to a MAC from K1000?

I use a package based method to deploy printers. I built packages that deploy the necessary drivers and then run scripts that install the printers via lpadmin.

I use Packages:

If your printer drivers are available as a package themselves then you can create a script that installs that package and then runs the lpadmin commands. Use that as the post-install script for your package. - chucksteel 8 years ago
