Disable Plantronics Update Notifications

I'm going to deploy The Plantronics app but want to disable to update notifications so my users don't see them and attempt updateing on their own. I can seem to locate a flag or command to shut it off.  Anyone else have ti deal with this?  Any pointers?  (I've tried scripting the AutoUpdate=0 during the msi install but it doesn't help).
