El Capitan makes my Mac run very slow, need some help?

I Upgraded my MBP (2014), from Yosemite to El Capitan and it slowed my Mac down to the point where it became totally unusable. I also tried to repair the permissions, and even reinstalled OS X El Capitan from Time Machine, but it didn't help. My MBP is crawling, and I'm hoping someone can walk me through a solution. Need help.

Did you run the hardware test on your Mac? https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT201257
You should also check Activity Monitor to know if an application is exhausting RAM. Did you checked how much free spaces is available on your startup disk? Clean your Mac if its running out of free spaces. Try free clean up http://www.macintosh-software.net/tools/speedup-mac.php You might consider to upgrade your RAM since OS X 10.9, 10.10 and 10.11 are RAM hungry OS X.  Upgrading the RAM to 4 - 8GB will provide you with improved speed. And yes, an SSD will surely boost the performance of your MacBook Pro.
