  • We are getting ready to complete an enterprise deployment of Flash and are looking for feedback from this community as to your experience if you have used the ESR instead of the 'latest and greatest' of Flash. - pjchambers1 9 years ago
  • In all my days, none of my clients have used Adobe extended support for FlashPlayer. I have had clients that have kept very old versions of the player with no significant impact. The downside is the security updates 'risk'. - Badger 9 years ago
  • Same with me... however with this new 'branch' I'm wondering if this is not a better bet for my client. - pjchambers1 9 years ago

So, guess what I have to do today??? an updated Flash version,

on the adobe page I see this...

"We have created a branch of the Flash Player code that we keep up to date with all of the latest security updates, but none of the new features or bug fixes available in our current release branch. This allows organizations to ceritify and stay secure on Flash Player with minimal effort."

It seems they have catered for my concerns on security.

  • Exactly - and we are considering this option, however I am hoping for some feedback from anyone who has used it. - pjchambers1 9 years ago
