Force office 365 pro plus (2013 version) click to run to perform an upgrade in script

I am using a K1000 script to deploy office 365 pro plus 2013 to our users. It is installing side by side with Office 2007. I would like it to perform an upgrade not a side by side install. If my users install it from portal.office.com it performs an upgrade, however when I use the deployment tool it is installing side by side. I am sure there is a switch to force an upgrade that I can put in the xml file, but I can't find it after extensive searching. Can anyone help me out?

I've worked with Click-to-Run for Office, I don't think there is such a switch sorry. Definitely not in the XM.

Have you tried using the office 2013 customization tool?

  • That tool only works for Volume licensed editions of Office, but Office 365 Pro Plus is not considered to be a "volume" installation. - KHaught 9 years ago
