Generic tool to check application prerequisites?
Is there a tool or any script which can check if the application (before packaging) has any prerequisities.
For Exmaple:
Many application requires .NET to be present on the machine before installation.
Is there any tool or script which checks for it before installing the application and provide us the details?

hmm.. if you want to package, you just do this without a proper intake?
Normally if you need to (re)package an application , you will do some research about the vendor/installation pre-reqs/ licensing etc..
Seems to me that you are using the wrong approach .. and additionally probably not with the knowledge / experience (yet) to handle these requests?
