Get emailalias via vb

Hi,

I need a script/function who will give me the exchange mail alias of the logged on user. Does anyone know how i can do this?

hey,

Cwashington has great scripts but the scripts get their info out of adsi. My users are in the field and don't have access at that moment to AD. Any registry trick who can do it for me?

umm, users do have read access to their own properties in AD.

can users read their rights when they aren't connected to the network? no vpn/ras.

Good point mate! I think that the exchange alias is also stored in the users registry as well under "Windows Messaging Subsystem".

Sorry but I can't check cause this company uses Notes.

hi,

I also figured out that in the registry some keys can be found. Unfortunately they use a hash in the key. This hash changes depending the outlook profile name the user used. We don't have a standard outlook profile name so i keep looking to solve this also.

If i find anything i'll post it as i know someone else also can use this script.
