ghost 8CE...*sigh*
Hi everyone,
I'm having random problems even getting started using Ghost 8 CE. I've tried this accross domains and on a simple workgroup network - I cannot complete a "ghost client install".
Over the domain, it appears to complete successfully, but I cannot see the newly installed "computer" on my server.
Over the workgroup, I cannot even log in to the machine. I get "logon failure" errors and this cryptic message:
"Add logon right: Error when opening security policy - the computer might be running Windows 95, 98, ME or XP Home, or the specified account does not have sufficient administrative rights on that machine". I logged in as the administrator when I got this error.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks,
Joe

I figured out the "add logon right" problem. In case anyone has the same problem, here's my solution:
It seems that no matter what credentials I specified, the target pc would always try to log me on as "GUEST". I had to switch the sharing from simplified to advanced and share the C drive. That's it.
Good luck,
GB
