How do I create a physical UEFI based Windows 10 image from scratch using a Dell 3060? Is this just a matter of setting up the BIOS for UEFI prior to installing Windows 10?

I don't use VM, but keep the device off the network and install all the apps using stand-alone exe's.  We capture the image using Ghost.

I use a Dell 5050 and the only thing you really should do is remove any add in cards and make the as simple as possible.  Set bios to uefi only and boot dvd as uefi, install, sysprep and capture

  • Thank-you!! So, I can boot to the windows 10 installation media this way under UEFI and ALSO, boot to my Ghost boot media when capturing as that is on a DVD as well? - mckenneyj 5 years ago
    • Windows DVD will boot either way.
Not sure what version of ghost you have but test it by setting the bios to uefi only and do a F12 and choose the DVD and see if it loads - SMal.tmcc 5 years ago
