Scripting : How do I remove a desktop shortcut using a script in K1000

How do I remove a desktop shortcut using a script in K1000

I've tried to attach a .bat file as a dependency and set the following on Success:

Launch a program

Directory $(KACE_DEPENDENCY_DIR)

File Delete dictaphone icon (this is the name of the file I uploaded as a dependency)

checked the Wait for completion box

left the parameters blank

I saved it and ran it but it fails every time.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Newbie here.
