How do I repair disk permissions on Mac correctly?
I was having some issues with my MacBook Pro and I took it into the nearby store where they told me that it was an issue with the disk permissions. They repaired the disk permissions using the help of Disk Utility and I thought everything was fixed after that. Then all the bad issues started happening again in my Mac system so I did it fix by myself and just like at the store a whole bunch of messed up permissions were coming up when I clicked "verify disk permissions" so I ran the fix again and everything was back to normal. For a complete 1 day, it cont. keeps repairing the disk permissions and it's getting annoying for me. I literally have to do it every day. Is there any permanent solution to fix or is it a deeper issue with my Mac?

If your permissions are getting messed up every day then I would say there is a deeper issue. Have you run a disk verify and repair?
El Capitan is supposed to do a better job of keeping the disk in good shape, to the point that they removed the repair permissions option in Disk Utility. If you can upgrade you might want to consider that as another option.

Repairing disk permissions is a simple procedure that can be easily solved either by the help of Disk Utility or any 3rd party tools, like Volume Optimizer. Though, from your question it seems to appear that you have already tried the Disk Utility and still facing errors in disk permission of your Mac. So, I suggest you to use the Volume Optimizer Software as an alternative solution.

Sounds like the disk is about to expire to me. I'd be replacing it, pronto, probably with an SSD.
