how do you find endpoints that are missing software
we have carbon black installed no problem finding out which endpoints have it but I Need to know which ones don't

This should be straightforward, if you know the title of the software, as shown in Software Inventory, go to inventory and do an Advanced Search, use Software Titles Begins with xxxx and see what results you get. Every machine shown should have your desired software installed and you can go to any device inventory, scroll down to the software section and confirm.
To find out machines that do not have the software you want, reverse the search by changing the Begins With operand to Does Not Begin With. You should see the search results change and again you can confirm by going to an individual machine inventory and confirming that the software is not installed.
