How is the user community using the Kace1000 Systems Management Appliance to it's full potential?
We are currently using the Service Desk, Asset Management and Inventory, however, some believe we should be doing more. Please share your experiences.

We are currently using the K1000 for our inventory/asset management. As well as software deployment.
It works very well with deploying software to end users, with minimal interruption to them. It also has helped us a lot with "automating" the imaging process for new PCs. Once they have the Kace agent on them, they check in and the smart labels we have setup apply to the machines - and start installing the software they need depending on what type of computer it is.
K1000 is very good also at reporting. We've been able to gather data regarding computer age from the system, and have been keeping an eye on when machines reach a certain age, to decommission them.
The scripting aspect is also very good - if you are planning to make changes to some machines and do not want to remote in/access the machine. It can change things on the back-end without any interaction from the end user.
