How to delete excess audiotracks on VLC?

Hi, there are 4 audio tracks established in VLC by default. Can I switch off or remove some unnecessary of it to avoid multiple switches between them?
Thanks!

VLC is a player not a editor, thus you need a editor.

If it has multiple tracks, taking a punt - is it a MKV file?

  • I see. I thought maybe it's in the settings or somewhere.
Yes. it has MKV files. What do you mean under the punt? - bony07 4 years ago
    • Use this tool to remove the tracks
      https://mkvtoolnix.download/

      Its free and open source.

      • Unfortunately, it didn't work out because there is a limit on a right to edit the file, etc. but still thank you - bony07 4 years ago

User left click on “Open File… Ctrl+O (menu item)” in “VLC Player” User mouse drag start on “Position (indicator)” in “Select one or more files to open” User left click on “Audio Alt+A (menu item)” Audio track and then select the track of your native language not the domestic language track of the movie file

  • Thank you for the answer but this is not the same, I want to switch tracks while I watch a movie, not just in a begin
Besides, this does not work out even after loading a new episode because the settings don't save the changes - bony07 4 years ago
