How to run a Software install batch while Windows boots (GPO)
Hey guys,
anyone has experience in running a batch with Computer-GPO while Windows starts?
My skript in general ist doing this point:
- checking if already run (existing the .txt from end of skript)
- checking which system (x86/x64)
- checking if earlier version exists -> uninstall it
- install software
- writing a .txt for first point
The skript itself is working fine, but no reaction when putting it on GPO.
Any suggestions welcome.
CHEERS ;)

You can put the command in the registry and that can take care of running it once.
This will run the script as one of the first things...
But if you want to run it before windows start's, you can have look if this still works.

Thanks for ur answer, even I already got it work yesterday. Quite like u said.
Now the file will be copied to the client and the link to it will be written in den reg-path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run".
Afterwards the file will be started after a reboot.
