The default path for the AutoCAD 2007 executable is C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2007\acad.exe. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=2894625&linkID=9240617
My guess is the 2008 path is the same except you plug in 2008 instead of 2007

it is exactly as you guessed....AutoCAD keep their executable under C:\Program Files\AutoCAD \acad.exe. This is to allow the new version to exactly figure out which previous version is being upgraded and whether it has been completely uninstalled. - SKRN 12 years ago
