I'm new to this, what is a good .msi file to download and test?

Were doing a deployment soon and I'll be in charge of it all.  Where are the best 'how to's' on adding and deploying msi files?

I'd choose one that is on every machine like Adobe Reader. Almost everything is an MSI these days. Does that really answer your question? Can you say more about your environment, what mangement solution are you working with?

My suggesstion would be, First start with some simple msi's like WordWeb or your own msi etc.. This will give you confident and encourage you to do more deployment at initial stage..

Then you can go for the tough one..

Probably Adobe Flash player and Shockwave are the ones which are updated every month. So you can use them.

Might I ask what deployment tool/method you are using?
