Import existing WIMs from MDT?
We're in the process of moving from my cobbled together MDT system to the KACE 2000. Unfortunately, we also have a need to image systems fairly constantly. I can't PXE boot to both systems, which means I pretty much have to boot to the MDT system until I can get the time to re-capture all the images we have in MDT. It'd be a whole lot easier to just import the sysprepped WIMs to the K2000 from the MDT server. Is there an easy way to handle this, or do I have to go through the process of recapturing and customizing all our masters to the K2000?

You can store them externally on a windows share and call them that way.

Thanks, but that's way more complicated than I was hoping for. We ended up using the KBE Manipulator to import our MDT boot ISOs instead. We're now PXE-booting from the KACE, selecting either a KBE for the KACE or one of our old MDT boot images from the menu, then imaging off of whichever system was selected. We'll just transition off the old images as we go. - smthng 9 years ago
