Inital Boot Image
I am trying to get the boot CD/DVD up to the Kace box. I have media manger. I put in my hostname, media name, path, password. etc. click start build. I end up watching "launching helper" for eternity.
Am I missing anything? following are the settings for the K2000
under K2000 general settings / network settings:
everything standard, no "enable on-board DHCP server"
Enable NetBoot Server (For Mac OS X Clients) is check markedwith BSDP server: 32768 and BSDP image: 52230
under K2000 general settings:
Default K2000 Boot Environments:
Mac OS X Intel (Netboot) doesnt give me an option. Once I get a boot DVD up, im sure this will be available with whatever media I can upload.

Lastly the mac and the kace boxes are on the same subnet.

Ok so I went back to another macbook laptop that has the K2000 media manager that we received from our test run of the product. The following is a different error. instead of just sticking on "launching helper...".

We received the k1000 and k2000 preloaded. That version of K2000 media manager is the one that is sticking on "launching helper..." - if it's pointing to a DVD in the laptop or pointing to anything else. I did try a couple of ways only SS'ed the one.
Now mind you. I wasn't the person setting up the servers. I am just the guy responsible for the mac side of it all. :)

We can't see the entire path of what source media you are pointing to. Have you tried pointing to physical media?
