K1000 Script to shutdown windows machines

I'm using the built in script to shut down my windows machines.  But I'm run into a problem.  When I assign the script to run to a batch of computers the ones that are on do shutdown.  However the ones that are off will also shut down the next day when they are turned on.

Is there a way to prevent that from happening?

create a smart label that the machine is connected (client) and use that for your script.

will post a screen shot of mine if needed when in the office tomorrow

  • Thank you for the reply. I'll try that tonight. Should I add the device connect to the end of the laptop with an "and" on the previous line? - mbatescny 8 years ago

here is our setup for the 7pm shut down.  when using "and's" it does not matter the order, all lines must be satisfied to meet the criteria for the label to apply.

Yes I am.  I work for the Rome City School District.  How did you know?

  • I accidentally clicked as I was passing over your name and ended up on your profile. I grew up outside Utica so when I saw your company name I figured it had to be Rome NY - SMal.tmcc 8 years ago

I tried the settings you have game last night.  My in my test I had the machine setup to turn off and other machines already off.  At the configured time the machines did turn off but later when I powered up the machines that were off they also powered off in a few mins.  I've attacked screen shots of my settings.  Do you see anything wrong with my setup?

Thanks for the help.
